Walters Book |
The Walters Family Book
is now available for R 250 per copy. The Book
describes the historical context in which Samuel Walters and
his descendants lived, starting at Pressburg in Slovakia where he was born
1673, his voyage on the Assendelft from the Netherlands to Cape Town in 1695
and the distribution of his descendants up to the eight generation. The
eight generation was born around 1900 which will make it easy for the reader
to connect to his/her family tree. The family tree ( up to the 11
generation) is also available on this WEB site
and will also be made available on CD-ROM. Postage is R 15 for normal mail
and R 30 for one day counter to counter delivery. Please contact me to place
an order and to arrange payment. Please note that the book is in Afrikaans.

Walters news letter |
I would like to
know if there is any interest to create and maintain a newsletter for
the Walters Family. Other family societies do publish successfully such
newsletters. The aim is to create an communication vehicle to inform readers
about births, marriages, deaths , highlights, family get-togethers,
and other interesting stories about Walters families. Please let
me know if should start such an initiative ?
